Postdoctoral Position in Immunology and Systems Biology

A postdoctoral position is available in the laboratory of Vladimir Litvak in the Department of Microbiology and Physiological Systems at the University of Massachusetts Medical School. Our laboratory is located in the state-of-the-art, brand new Albert Sherman Center, home to Nobel Prize-winning research and world-renowned experts in the fields of microbiology, immunology and systems biology.


The main focus of the Litvak Lab is to identify molecular mechanisms controlling host response to pathogens and regulating the interaction between innate immune cells and gut microbiota. (Litvak V. et al, Nature, 2012; Litvak V. et al, Nature Immunology, 2009).


We are looking for a candidate with a history of excellent research productivity. Strong experience in the computational biology and bioinformatics approaches is required. Background in molecular biology and experience in cell imaging using confocal microscopy are preferred.
